Polenta is basically cooked cornmeal. It’s great and easy to make. You can add cheese to it, herbs, bake it, grill it, or fry it. It’s very versatile.

In a sauce pan, heat milk and water together and allow it to come to a boil
Add polenta and salt to taste. Stir well for 3 minutes or until polenta adsorbs all the liquids.
Add pepper, if desired
Stir in cheese and butter.
In a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan, spread the polenta and allow to cool.
Once cooled, flip out of the pan onto a board and cut into six sections.
Store for up to 3 days in the fridge. Enjoy the polenta by grilling, baking, sauteing or frying it.
