A lower calorie version of an Italian classic. This Chicken Parmesan dish is a comforting and a toddler approved pasta dinner. Skip breading the chicken to save the calories. From skillet to oven, it can done in 40 minutes for those busy families out there.
Cook pasta per directions on box, drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Heat olive oil in pan, add chicken and Italian dressing. Brown chicken, about 5 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour tomato sauce and pasta sauce. Reduce heat, let simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour mixture into 9 x 13 baking dish. Spread shredded cheese on top and bake until cheese is melted.
Serve next to a nice salad. Enjoy!
