These cookies will go great with a cup of tea! They are easy to make with simple ingredients.
Lots of recipes add vanilla extract into the dough but it takes away from the original taste. Enjoy the smell of these cookies while you bake!
In a food processor, pulse flour, tea, salt, and sugar.
Note: Make sure to use confectioners sugar. If you use granulated sugar, the cookies will turn out hard.
Cut butter into pieces and add into dry mix. Include the water to mix better. Pulse until a dough is formed.
Remove from food processor, lay on a board and shape two logs by rolling. About 2 inches in diameter.
Wrap in plastic saran wrap tightly and place in fridge. Minimum of 30 minutes until dough is hard.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Unwrap dough from saran wrap. Cut into 1/3-1/4 inch slices. The thicker the cookie, the longer it takes to bake. Lay them on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake 12-15 minutes. Cookies are done once the edges start to brown and bottom of cookie is a nice golden brown color.
Let the cookies cool to room temperature. Serve with a nice glass of tea!
