Turn a box of Zatarain’s Rice Pilaf into a one-skillet meal. Add a protein with some vegetables and you are set.
At medium-high heat, heat oil olive in a skillet.
Add sliced sausage and brown. About 3-5 minutes.
Pour water and add rice mix. Stir well, allow to come to a boil and lower heat. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
Stir in asparagus and tomatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes or to desired asparagus tenderness.
Serve hot. Enjoy!
