Make your slow cooker do all the work for you with this simple recipe. Throw the ingredients together and let it do it’s thing. The most work you have to do is shredding the chicken.
Serve the pulled barbecue chicken on some soft rolls topped with fresh coleslaw. Change it up by using different barbecue sauces. I used a Weber’s Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce.
Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker, stir mixture and coat chicken in the mix.
Cook for 3-4 hours on HIGH or 7-8 hours on LOW.
Once chicken is cooked, remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with forks.
Return chicken back slow cooker and stir with mix.
Serve pulled chicken on a roll topped with coleslaw. Enjoy!
Note: if you use a sweet BBQ, make or buy a vinegar based coleslaw. It'll cut the sweetness.
