You cannot go wrong with this comfort dish. Make sure to add your choice of chicken, pork, or turkey sausage. Pick between sweet Italian or spicy. You can also use any type of ravioli you prefer. I used a ricotta with spinach ravioli with a sweet Italian turkey sausage but an all cheese or mushroom ravioli would be great too. Double the recipe if you are making it for 4. This recipe is perfect for 2-3 people.

Prepare ravioli per package directions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Note: when making ravioli ahead of time, put about a tablespoon of oil into the pan so the raviolis don't stick together.
In a large skillet, heat oil and cook sausage at medium-high heat. Brown sausage until not pink and well done.
Note: remove sausage from casing, if casing is included.
Add tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir well. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in heavy cream or half and half. Simmer for 1-2 minutes on low heat.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Toss in ravioli and carefully fold in.
Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve while hot.
