This tasty sausage skillet is a complete meal in one pan. It’s perfect for a busy weeknight family meal and great as a leftover.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add sliced sausage. Cook about 5 minutes.
Add onions, garlic, and peppers. Saute for 5 minutes or until onions translucent.
Add rice and sausage, stir well. Pour broth on top and allow to come to a boil. Mix turmeric, salt and pepper, as desired.
Once it boils, reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Allow to cook for 25 minutes or until all broth is absorbed and rice is tender.
Sprinkle on parsley.
Serve while hot.
