Spicy Cajun dinner made with store bought rotisserie chicken is the perfect quick dinner for any weeknight. From start to finish, it'll only take 30 minutes. Hope you like it!

  1. Cook pasta to desired tenderness as directed on package. Drain and set aside.
  2. Remove meat from rotisserie, chop, and set aside OR cook up chicken and slice up if you don't have rotisserie chicken.

  3. In a large pot, heat oil at medium heat and add bacon. Cook to desired crispiness. Remove bacon from pan and drain fat off on a paper towel. Set aside.
  4. Add peppers and onions to pot. Cook 3-5 minutes.

  5. Add chicken. Sprinkle with Cajun seasonings, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Allow to heat the chicken through. About 5-10 minutes.

  6. Pour milk and half and half. Stir well. OPTIONAL: If thicker sauce is desired, add a tsp of corn starch to 5 tablespoons of water and mix well. Stir into sauce.
  7. Fold in cooked pasta into mix.

  • This dish was cooked for me 2 weeks ago and I’m still raving about it! I’ve never had bacon in my Cajun chicken pasta but it was surprisingly delicious. I’ll definitely be making this dish for me and my family, and I’ll be passing it on to my friends!
